Background
Wife to Hyg, and shieldmaiden of remarkable skill, Hyld argued against her husband's desires to raid the lands west across the great mountains. Besides the late season and threat of early snows, Hyld had a vision of a great darkness sweeping over the world. Naturally, and to his lament, Hyg dismissed this as nonsense. He has since apologised to her on bent knee, which would be all well and good, if they weren't completely surrounded by orc zombies. Now they fight to return home, fearing the worst.
